Music freedom #tRAPped: limitations on artistic freedom in Denmark and beyond

Freemuse will present the live public discussion on artistic freedom in Denmark and internationally, with a specific focus on the limitations applied to rappers. Bringing together international and local artists, as well as experts in the field of artistic freedom, the panel will explore key issues relating to the music industry including freedom of expression, target groups most affected by breeches of freedom of artistic expression, intersections of race and gender and what can and should be done to support free expression for musicians.

Freemuse will launch the international tRAPped campaign, which highlights the specific limitations placed on rappers and advocates for freedom of artistic expression as a basic human right.
